What it shows

UTXO Realized Price is a Premium page about the cost basis of Bitcoin supply. It groups coins into nine age bands by the time since they last moved. For each band it shows the average price at which those coins last changed hands. This is the realized price. The page compares it with the current BTC price. A band with a realized price above the market price holds coins at an unrealized loss. A band below it holds coins at a profit. The page also shows the short-term holder cost basis and the split of supply between short-term and long-term holders. A What-If slider tests other price levels, and band alerts follow changes.

How to read it

Find the current price line first. Count which bands sit above it and which sit below it. Younger bands show recent buyers and older bands show long-term holders. When price falls below a band’s realized price, holders in that band are at a loss. Move the What-If slider to see how bands change sides at other prices. Check the supply split to see whether coins sit with long-term or short-term holders. Read the NinjaReading text after the numbers and compare it with the chart.

  1. Find the current price line and see which bands sit above it.
  2. Move the What-If slider to test how bands change sides.
  3. Compare the short-term and long-term holder supply split.

What to keep in mind

Realized price is an average cost. It does not show what each holder paid or when each holder will sell. Age bands use the time since coins last moved, which is not the same as the time since a person bought. Exchange wallets and internal transfers can blur cohort data. The What-If slider is a calculation and not a forecast. NinjaReading is AI-written text, so check the numbers yourself.

A missing value is not zero. Check the source and time under each data block before you compare numbers.

Questions

What is realized price in Bitcoin?

Realized price is the average price at which a group of coins last moved on-chain. It works as an estimate of the group’s cost basis. When the market price is above it, the group holds an unrealized profit. When it is below, the group holds an unrealized loss.

What are STH and LTH in Bitcoin?

STH means short-term holders and LTH means long-term holders. On-chain analysis separates them by the age of coins since they last moved. Coins that moved recently belong to STH. Older coins belong to LTH. The page shows the supply split between the two groups.

Is UTXO Realized Price a Premium page?

Yes. UTXO Realized Price is part of NinjaTools Premium, and you must sign in to open it. The age bands, the What-If slider and the band alerts sit inside that page. The written NinjaReading also needs you to be signed in. Plan details appear in the app.
