What it shows

DeFi Health is a Premium page about leverage in on-chain lending. A top strip shows total DeFi debt, gross collateral, the debt to collateral ratio and the average borrow APY. A system thermometer places the ratio on a scale and adds a status label. Charts show how debt and collateral split across lending protocols such as Aave, Compound and Morpho. A detail table lists debt, collateral, borrow APY, the weekly debt change, utilization and status for each protocol. A history chart shows total debt over time. A liquidity flow card estimates inflows and outflows, and a rankings table lists large DeFi protocols by TVL.

How to read it

Start with the debt to collateral ratio and its thermometer label. Then read the weekly debt change to see the direction. Open the protocol table and compare utilization and borrow APY across protocols, because one protocol can differ from the total. Use the history chart to see whether debt is rising or falling over time. Read the liquidity flow card with care. TVL changes include price moves, so the card cannot separate real withdrawals from falling token prices.

  1. Read the debt to collateral ratio and the thermometer status label.
  2. Compare utilization and borrow APY across protocols in the table.
  3. Check the history chart for the direction of total debt.

What to keep in mind

The page covers a set of large lending protocols, not all of DeFi. TVL and collateral values move with token prices, so a change can come from price and not from user action. The liquidity flow card is an estimate and the page says so. A status label such as healthy or leverage high describes a ratio, not the safety of a protocol. Smart contract risk is not measured here.

A missing value is not zero. Check the source and time under each data block before you compare numbers.

Questions

What does the DeFi debt to collateral ratio show?

The ratio divides the total value borrowed in the tracked lending protocols by the total collateral supplied to them. A higher ratio means more of the supplied collateral is borrowed against. It describes leverage in the system and not the risk of one position.

What is utilization in the protocol table?

The page defines utilization as borrowed value divided by the sum of TVL and borrowed value. It shows how much of a protocol’s capital is in use. It is shown next to borrow APY and a status label for each protocol.

Is DeFi Health a Premium feature?

Yes. DeFi Health is listed among the Premium pages. Use an account with Premium access to open it. The debt strip, the thermometer and the protocol table are part of the same page. Plans are shown in the app.
