What it shows
Smart Money Radar is a Premium page for Binance Futures. It uses the exchange’s own smart trader classification to find pairs where professional traders and whales hold unusual positions. Pairs that meet a rule appear as cards. The cards are grouped by pattern: accumulation, short squeeze, long squeeze, liquidity inflow, top warning, euphoria top, quiet distribution, rug alarm and crowded short. Each card shows trader positions, the share of long and short traders in profit, funding and the 24-hour change. A legend explains every pattern. Signed-in Premium users can build a personal monitor list and set an alert for a change in the smart trader long position.
How to read it
Open the legend first, so you know what each pattern name measures. The names describe patterns found in the data. They are not a direction. On a card, compare the long and short profit shares with the funding rate and the 24-hour price change. Check how many traders sit behind the card. Remember that position data updates once a day, while price and funding update more often. If no pair meets a rule on a given day, the page shows an empty state. That is a valid reading.
- Open the legend and read what each pattern name measures.
- Compare long and short profit shares with funding on each card.
- Add a pair to your monitor list if you want daily change alerts.
What to keep in mind
The classification comes from Binance and the page cannot check it. Position data updates once a day, so it can be out of date during fast markets. A pattern name is an observation and not a prediction. Traders in the sample are a subset of all market participants. Alerts compare today’s long position with the previous day, and the page sends at most one notification a day for each alert.
A missing value is not zero. Check the source and time under each data block before you compare numbers.
Questions
What does smart money mean on Binance Futures?
The page uses the exchange’s own smart trader classification. NinjaTools does not define who is smart. It reads the position data for that group and names patterns, such as accumulation or crowded short, when a pair meets a rule.
How often does Smart Money Radar update?
Position data refreshes once a day, after the Binance update. Price, funding and the 24-hour change on each card refresh more often. The page states this under the legend, so read cards with the daily position data in mind.
Do I need Premium to use Smart Money Radar?
Smart Money Radar is listed among the Premium pages. The personal monitor list and its daily alerts need a signed-in account with Premium access. The pair cards and the pattern legend belong to the same page. You can see the current plans in the app.
