What it shows

The 2-Year MA Multiplier compares the Bitcoin price with two long-term reference lines. The first line is the 2-year moving average. The app uses a window of 730 days. The second line is that average multiplied by five. The 2-year average changes slowly and follows the long-term trend. The multiplied line sits far above it. The chart shades the area where the price falls below the 2-year average. The page also shows a text label that tells whether the price is above the multiplied line, below the average, or between the two lines.

How to read it

Find the BTC price and compare it with the two lines. Price below the 2-year line means it trades under its long-term average. Price between the lines is in the normal span. Price above the line at five times the average is the highest reading on this chart. In past cycles, price reached that line near its highs and fell under the 2-year line near its lows. Past touches of these lines do not guarantee a repeat. Use the log scale to compare cycles of different size.

  1. Find the BTC price relative to the 2-year line.
  2. Check the shaded area where price sits under the 2-year line.
  3. Compare the distance to the ×5 line across past cycles.

What to keep in mind

A 730-day window needs two years of price data. The line reacts slowly to new conditions. The ×5 line is a fixed multiple. It does not adapt to the size of the market. Early cycles had smaller markets and larger swings. The sample of full cycles is small. The calculation uses price only. Use the chart as context, not as a timing tool.

A missing value is not zero. Check the source and time under each data block before you compare numbers.

Questions

What is the 2-Year MA Multiplier?

It is a chart that shows the Bitcoin price with its 2-year moving average and five times that average. The two lines act as long-term reference levels. They show how far the price has moved from the long-term trend.

How many days are in the 2-year moving average?

The app uses 730 days, which is two years of daily data. The moving average takes the mean of the last 730 daily prices. Each new day adds a new price and removes the oldest one. This makes the line change slowly.

What does price below the 2-year moving average mean?

It means the current price is lower than the mean of the last two years. The chart shades this area. Past market lows have appeared near or under this line. A move below the line does not confirm a low.
